Guided ice fishing trips are available starting mid-December depending on the ice conditions.  Walleye pan-fish, and Pike will be the target.  Price on guided trips will vary depending on where you want to go.  I fish night and day - night-time shifts are open!

Split shifts on full-day guided trips (4 hours AM, 4 hours PM) are available.  The best dates to book a Walleye outing on would be the days that coincide with moon phases. 

Tip-up fishing on Lake Wissota can be very rewarding.  Walleye like this can be expected during any ice fishing venture.  Tip-ups, bait, and all manual labor included in the price.  Whole day or split shifts are available.

I'm a firm believer in agressive jigging for panfish. 

I personally like fishing for panfish shallow, most of the time in water less than 14' and in some of my spots as shallow as 4'

This is not slow paced, in fact it's a very agressive approach for finding, and staying on the fish, we will be on the move.

Typical panfish outings result in 25 fish, the only question is how long will it take?  On some occasions as little as one hour, and sometimes it might take all day.

The best times for chasing after panfish is from February til ice-out.

What To Expect

• Prepare every outing as if it will be cold and windy.
• Waterproof footwear is recommended.
• A heated portable fish house is available upon request (2 person max.)
• Dress in layers; it's always easy to take something off.
• Expect an early morning shift to mean pre-sunrise.
• Polarized sunglasses are highly recommended.
