Lake Wissota and it's biggest tributary, the Chippewa River, are my home waters. During the summer, I will fish this lake and river system 4-5 times a week; keeping my finger on the pulse of what's going on below the surface. Trophy fish potential on these waters is year round. Summer surface bait action can be phenomenal. Fall sucker fishing is outstanding! You should come experience it for yourself.
New for 2019, I will be running a G3 18' CCJ jet boat able to get into the most unpressure waters in my area, not many guides are doing these trips, and the fishing is phenominal. Worked hard the past four seasons to discover just the right areas to find huge, wild fish! One of a kind trips that will leave an impression. Why fish pressured water when we can fish all day without seeing anybody else, and contact really big fish!
Located just south of Danbury, and just to the North of Webster this body is a winner. Home to many huge fish. I have been fishing this lake for over 13 years now, and can put you on some real dandy's here.
Another reservoir type system with many trophy fish present. Lots of mid-summer action and beautiful scenery. I have a vast knowledge of this body of water. This flowage is known to be the best musky lake in Chippewa County.
Bone Lake is where I first learned to musky fish. This is one of the lakes I would promote for a perfect late-night guide session. Lots of big fish, very high density, and tons of structure. I have produced many, many, muskies from Bone Lake.
Dairyland reservoir is big fish water! Some of the best fishing all year is had on this body, Located just outside of Ladysmith. This lake is home to some truly girthy muskies. Another good night lake or for fall sucker trips. This lake has a lot to offer. Trophy potential year-round. Multiple fish days can be had at any time.
Big McKenzie is 1100 acres of pure structure. Sunken islands, quick, fast drop-offs, 70+ feet of depth, and a Cisco population. I've been fishing this lake for over 20 years, know all the spots, and have hooked my largest musky to date on this lake. One I estimated to be well over 50 pounds and 57 inches.
Some of my first muskies were caught out of the Chippewa Flowage. I've been fishing there for over 25 years and know my way around. Every Walleye opener is spent on this flowage. Summer musky action can be intense. After all, this is the home of the world record musky.
